Thursday, March 21, Virginia Festival of the Book, 2 p.m., Charlottesville, VA. I’m honored to be a participant at this year’s Festival, one of the best book events around. My first Lifemobile event is a panel titled “Novels of Loss and Redemption,” to be held at the Main/Central branch of the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library, 201 E. Market St., Charlottesville. Directions to the Library are here. More info on the Festival is here.

Friday, March 22, Virginia Festival of the Book, 5 p.m., Keswick/Boyd Tavern, VA. I’m really honored and excited by my second event at this year’s Festival, a reading of Lifemobile at the Oakland School for children with learning difficulties, which did such wonderful things for my son. Together, he and I will be speaking about the book as well as his Oakland experience. This event is open to the public. The Oakland School is located at 128 Oakland Farm Way, Troy, Virginia, off Union Mills Road. Best directions are here. More info on the Festival is here.

Saturday, April 27, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Staunton, VA. I’ll sign Lifemobile at the Local Writers Book Fair, sponsored by SWAG (Staunton, Waynesboro, Augusta Group of Writers). Open to the public. 16 W. Beverley St., Staunton. Directions are here.

Saturday, May 4, Virginia Vair Fair (as in Cor-Vair), 2 p.m., Leesburg, VA. I’ll read and sign Lifemobile at the 2013 Virginia Vair Fair, hosted by the Northern VA Corvair Club. The event will be at the Best Western Leesburg Hotel and Conference Center, the host hotel, located at 726 East Market St., Leesburg. This event is open to the public. Directions are here. And while you’re there, check out the dozens of Corvairs that will be on display.

Sunday, May 19, 12 – 5 p.m., Corvair Ranch Open House, Gettysburg, PA. A wonderful event that takes place rain or shine at this final resting place of over 700 Corvairs, where they selflessly give up their parts so that other Corvairs might live. This event is open to the public. 1079 Bon-ox Rd., Gettysburg. Directions are here.

Monday, June 17, 7 p.m., Malaprops Bookstore, Asheville, NC. I’m honored to read and sign Lifemobile at Malaprops Bookstore, a wonderful independent bookstore, as part of the first ever Autism Pride Week. This event is open to the public. Directions are here.

Friday, July 19, Corvair International Convention, 2 p.m., Kalamazoo, MI. I’m honored to return to read and sign Lifemobile at the CORSA Convention, the grand annual celebration of all things Corvair. I’ll be speaking in the Fairmont Room of the Four Points Sheraton, the host hotel, located at 3600 East Cork St., Kalamazoo. This event is open to the public. Directions are here.
