Ralph Nader Risks His Life in a Corvair !

Ralph Nader caught by the camera risking his life in a Corvair, the car he famously called “Unsafe at ANY Speed” as it’s parked at no speed.  Seven years after his book became a bestseller and made Nader a national celebrity, the government safety agency he lobbied to create — the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration — released a research report that refuted his charges and found the Corvair “as safe or safer” than comparable cars of its time.

      I believe it was taken at the annual Corvair Society convention about 20 years ago, where Nader was the featured speaker at the banquet. Let bygones be bygones!
